1954-55 Topps Gordie Howe

This 1954-55 Topps Gordie Howe hockey card is the first Topps card of the all time great Detroit Red Wings forward. Part of Topps' first hockey card set, this is easily the most sought after card from the offering and a specimen in good condition can be sold for thousands of dollars. As Topps had legal issues with the NHL after the release of this set, it would be a few years before Topps issued another hockey card set. Featuring an enhanced picture of a young Howe and a facsimile autograph, any hockey card collector would be very lucky to have this one in their collection.
