1955 Topps Harmon Killebrew

One of three great rookie cards in the 1955 Topps baseball card set (Sandy Koufax/RobertoClemente), this 1955 Topps Harmon Killebrew rookie card is one of the best cards of the 1950s. This rookie card will cost hundreds of dollars in good condition and is a great target for any Minnesota Twins baseball card collector. Though this card features Killebrew in a Washington Nationals uniform, his star would really shine when the franchise relocated to Minnesota and became the Twins in 1961. Killebrew was an eleven time All Star and was the 1969 American League Most Valuable Player. Known for his tape measure shots, Killebrew finished his career with 573 home runs. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984.
