1957 Topps Brooks Robinson

This 1957 Topps Brooks Robinson rookie card is the first card of the great Baltimore Orioles third baseman. One of the two top rookie cards of the 1957 Topps baseball card set (along with the Frank Robinson rookie card), this card can be very expensive on the open market. As one of the top rookie cards of the late 1950s, this card is only a buy target for the most serious of baseball card collectors. An eighteen time All Star, Robinson was a part of two World Championship teams in Baltimore, where he played his entire 23 year career. The 1964 American League Most Valuable Player was a sixteen time Gold Glove Winner and is generally considered among the best third baseman of all time. Robinson was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983.
