1960 Topps Willie McCovey

This 1960 Topps Willie McCovey rookie card is the debut card of the former Giants' slugger. Coming from the Topps All Star Rookie subset, this one is a bit odd looking for a vintage baseball rookie card. A festive card from the famously colorful 1960 Topps baseball set, this one is big with collectors less because of its aesthetic value and more because of it is the rookie card of a great player. Considering the cards age and significance, the price will not be too high on the open market for most vintage card collectors. McCovey was a six time All Star and was named the 1969 National League Most Valuable Player. The 500 Home Run Club member was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1986.
