1962 Topps Lou Brock rookie card

Lou Brock
Year:
1962
Set:
Topps

This 1962 Topps Lou Brock rookie card is the first card of the legendary speedster. Coming from the 1962 Topps set which is often recognized as one of the top sets of all time, this is one of the best rookies in the set. A fairly expensive card, if you want to buy a beat up copy of this card it will still cost you. Though this card features him as a member of the Chicago Cubs, Brock made his mark with the St. Louis Cardinals for whom he played most of his career including being a member of the 1964 and 1967 World Series Champion teams. At the time of his retirement, he was the MLB career leader in stolen bases. The six time All Star was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985.

My husband has a Lou Brock, St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Stock card 81/2 x 11, it was a folded paper picture that came out of a pkg of gum in the early 1960's. Is there any value to this stock photo card?
