1965 Topps Joe Morgan

This 1965 Topps Joe Morgan rookie card is proof that Morgan has not always been just a dry baseball commentator. A very affordable rookie card of a legend, this is one of a handful of solid rookie cards from the 1965 Topps baseball card set. This card is a great buy target for any 1960s baseball card collector. Though he is best remembered as the second baseman for the Big Red Machine in Cincinnati, this card depicts Morgan in a Houston Colt .45s (Astros) uniform, where he actually spent the greater part of his career. Morgan was a ten time All Star in his great career. He was both the National League MVP and a World Series Champion in 1975 and 1976. In 1990, Morgan was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
