This 1970-71 O-Pee-Chee Gilbert Perreault rookie card is the first card of one of the greatest players of the 1970s. Though it is one of the top 1970s hockey rookie cards, this card is very affordable on the open market. Perhaps this is due to the fact that Perreault is only a regional enduring superstar, but Sabres collectors should be sure to buy this card. The first ever draft pick by the Sabres, Perreault would go on to star for the team for over a decade. The center of the famed French Connection, Perreault scored over 500 career NHL goals and is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
