1970 Topps O.J. Simpson

This 1970 Topps O.J. Simpson rookie card was one of the most popular football cards on the market for decades. Featuring a great photo of the then young Buffalo Bills running back, this is a simply great looking card. Though it has decreased in value since it's peak in the early 1990s, this card can still be very expensive if professionally graded. This rookie card is a must have for any serious 1970s football card collector. One of the biggest stars in an era of star NFL players, in 1973 Simpson became the first NFL player to rush for more that 2,000 yards in a season. He was a six time Pro Bowler and former NFL MVP. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985. His life off the football field has not gone quite as well.
