1974 Topps Dave Winfield

This 1974 Topps Dave Winfield rookie card is the gem of the set. Featuring an interesting photo of a young Winfield, this is amongst the best cards of the 1970s. Although most famous as an outfielder for the New York Yankees, this card features a young Winfield in a San Diego Padres uniform. Many collectors have broke the bank for this card like George Steinbrenner did for Dave Winfield when he signed him as a free agent in 1981. Winfield is a twelve time All Star, a member of the 3,000 hit club and a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.
