1975-76 Topps Moses Malone

This 1975-76 Topps Moses Malone rookie card is a first year card of one of the greatest players of NBA history. Pictured here in a Utah Stars' ABA uniform, Malone would go on to star for 19 seasons in the NBA. He was a three time NBA MVP (1979, 1982, 1983). Additionally, he was the NBA Finals MVP in 1983, leading the Philadelphia 76ers to the Championship. The thirteen time All Star was named to the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame in 1995. Though this card is one of the best basketball rookie cards of the 1970s, it is also one of the oddest ones as it features a star player on a team few remember and a truly odd picture where it is hard to figure out which player is Malone.
