1975 Topps George Brett

This 1975 Topps George Brett rookie card is generally agreed upon to be among the best regular issue baseball card of the 1970s despite featuring a picture of a young Brett in a powder blue uniform and having an extremely ugly border. Coming from a set chock full of great rookies, this one has risen to become the gem of the set due to Brett's great career accomplishments and his enduring popularity. A must for 1970s baseball card collectors, this one will not come cheap. We like this card so much we named it the most memorable baseball card of the 1970s. Brett led the Royals to a World Series Championship and is one of the top third basemen of his generation. A member of the 3,000 hit club, Brett is a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.
