1976-77 O-Pee-Chee Bryan Trottier

This 1976-77 O-Pee-Chee Bryan Trottier rookie card is the first card of the great New York Islander. Despite being the rookie card of one of the better players of the era and being the gem of the 1976-77 O-Pee-Chee hockey set, this card is fairly affordable on the open market. Because this rookie card is so inexpensive, it is a great mark for any 1970s hockey card collector and is an absolute must for any New York Islanders collector. Trottier was a an eight time All Star and was named the 1978-79 NHL MVP, a season in which he led the league in scoring. Trottier was a member of six Stanley Cup winning teams (four with the New York Islanders and two with the Pittsburgh Penguins). A member of the 500 goal club, Trottier was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997.
