1978-79 O-Pee-Chee Mike Bossy

This 1978-79 O-Pee-Chee Mike Bossy rookie card is the first card of the great New York Islanders right winger. One of the top hockey rookie cards of the 1970s, this card and Bossy's Topps rookie card great targets for collectors. Though it was once one of the better hockey cards on the market, today it is surprisingly affordable. One of the best goal scorers of all time, Bossy recorded an amazing nine straight 50 goal seasons and ended his career with 573 goals despite retiring at the age of 30. He was a part of the four straight New York Islanders Stanley Cup wins in the early 1980s including being named the Conn Smythe Trophy winner in 1982. Bossy was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1991.
