1980-81 Topps Larry Bird/Julius Erving/Magic Johnson

One of the most unique rookie cards of all time, this 1980-81 Topps Basketball Larry Bird/Julius Erving/Magic Johnson card is the rookie card of both Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. The card features three Hall of Famers while they were still playing and is one of the most sought after basketball cards of it's time. Often referred to as Topps Panels, the 1980-81 Topps Basketball set features three players per card with perforations to separate the panels. This results in this card being fairly rare in mint condition. It is no doubt the best card of the set and can be very expensive on the open market. The idea for panels was a short lived experiment as Topps only designed cards like this for that one year in its basketball set.
