1982 Topps Lawrence Taylor

This 1982 Topps Lawrence Taylor rookie card is the first football card of the great but controversial former New York Giants linebacker. Taylor immediately became a star defensive player in the league and this card's popularity grew with every sack. Despite not featuring a great picture and oddly looking like an All Pro subset card, it is still one of the most popular of its time. Taylor would go on to become a ten time Pro Bowler and NFL MVP. He won two Super Bowls as a member of the Giants. LT was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999.
