1983 Topps Wade Boggs

This 1983 Topps Wade Boggs rookie card is one of the great rookies from the set. This one features a young Boggs in his Boston Red Sox uniform. Despite having a boring off center photo of the superstar, this was once one of the more coveted baseball rookie cards on the market. Today, it is a very affordable option for an early 1980s Topps rookie card. Boggs was a twelve time All Star and and was a member of the New York Yankees 1996 World Series Champion team. Boggs was a five time Al Batting Champion and finished his career with a .328 average. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005.
