This 1984-85 Star Michael Jordan is the extended rookie card of the greatest basketball player of all time. Despite not being the prettiest card, this one does not come cheap. A specimen of this card is the right condition would cost a collector thousands of dollars. Though it is not as famous as Jordan's 1986 Fleer "Rookie", this card is more rare and expensive. Jordan would go on to garner more accolades than can be mentioned as a member of the Chicago Bulls after the Star Company released this gem in its Chicago team set. Because of its high price tag, this card is most likely reserved for hardcore collectors and maybe a few lucky basketball fans who grew up in the early 1980s. Be sure to watch out for counterfeits and reprints on the open market.

This is exactly the reason why you would want to buy this card on eBay only if it is graded...tons of fake around out there. If you want a reprint for whatever reason, don't spend more than a couple of bucks. This probably goes for Jordan's Fleer rookie as well.
