1984-85 Topps Pat LaFontaine

This 1984-85 Topps Pat Lafontaine rookie card is the first card of the longtime NHL center. Coming from a 1984-85 Topps hockey set that was full of great rookies, this one belongs in tier 2 behind the likes of Steve Yzerman and Chris Chelios. Despite the fact that this card went for a decent chunk of change for years, it is now very affordable on the open market. It should appeal to all hockey card collectors, especially Buffalo Sabres and New York Islanders fans, and it is a must for 1980s hockey card collectors. An American born center, Pat LaFontaine was a great player and a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
