1984 Fleer Don Mattingly

Another rookie card of the famous Yankee first baseman, this 1984 Fleer Don Mattingly rookie card shows him at the position he fielded so well wearing what appears to be a Yankees t-shirt. Now very affordable, this card seems to be somewhat rare amongst Mattingly rookies, relatively speaking. Though it will always be looked at as the "third Don Mattingly rookie card" amongst 1980s baseball card collectors, this Fleer card is a great mark for any Mattingly collector. Mattingly will always be known as one of the best hitters of his time despite likely missing out on the Hall of Fame.
