1985-86 O-Pee-Chee Al MacInnis

This 1985-86 O-Pee-Chee Al MacInnis rookie card is the first card of one of the top defenseman of his era. Coming in a distant second to the Mario Lemieux rookie card from the same 1985-86 O-Pee-Chee hockey card set, this rookie card can be fairly affordable on the hockey card market. Despite not featuring a great picture of a young MacInnis, this rookie card is a great buy target for any Calgary Flames or St. Louis Blues collector. MacInnis, known for his booming slapshot, was a twelve time All Star. The one time Norris Trophy winner was named the MVP of the 1989 playoffs in leading the Flames to the Stanley Cup. In 1994, he was traded to the St. Louis Blues would go on to finish a career that saw him score almost 350 goals from the blueline. MacInnis was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007.
