1985 Topps Kirby Puckett

This 1985 Topps Kirby Puckett rookie card is the best rookie card of the former Twins outfielder. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, this card was arguably the most popular rookie card in a set that featured the rookie cards of such stars as Roger Clemens, Mark Mcgwire, Dwight Gooden, Brett Saberhagen, and Eric Davis. There was a time when this was one of the top contemporary rookie cards available over all, but time and some questions about Puckett's legacy have depleted the respect that this card gets on the market. Nevertheless, it will always be looked upon by 1980s baseball card collectors as a great rookie from a great rookie set.
