1985 Topps Roger Clemens

This 1985 Topps Baseball Roger Clemens rookie card features the young fireballer in his Boston Red Sox uniform. One of the top rookie baseball cards of the 1980s, this card has found its way into many collections. Though it was once one of the more popular rookie cards in all of card collecting, the value of this card has taken a hit in the last handful of years and it is now moderately affordable on the open market. After having a falling out with the Red Sox organization, Clemens would go on to pitch for the Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, and Houston Astros. Clemens is an eleven time All Star, former AL MVP, seven time Cy Young winner and has two World Series Rings. His retirement has been marred by steroid allegations that Clemens has repeatedly denied.
