1986-87 Fleer James Worthy

Another great rookie from the famous basketball card set, this 1986-87 Fleer James Worthy rookie card is the first card of the Hall of Famer. Despite being drafted first overall in the 1982 NBA Draft, card collectors had to wait a good four years to finally have the opportunity to purchase an official James Worthy rookie card. Today it is a very affordable and some feel underrated option from the expensive rookie card laden 1986-87 Fleer Basketball card set. Worthy would go on to become a seven time All Star and a three time NBA Champion, playing his entire career for the Los Angeles Lakers. In 1988, Worthy was named the MVP of the NBA Finals. "Big Game James" was elected to the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003.
