Quite possibly the most famous rookie basketball card of all time, this 1986-87 Michael Jordan Fleer Rookie card shouldn't have been a rookie at all. After a five year complete basketball card hiatus which included Jordan's first few years, Fleer released their 1986-86 basketball card set which included the "rookie" cards of those lost years. This Jordan card is by far the most popular and expensive rookie card to come out of that legendary set and not too many are lucky enough to have this card in their collection. Jordan would go on to be known as one of the greatest players of all time. A multiple time NBA Champion, Jordan is in the Basketball Hall of Fame. He is considered by many to be the most popular athlete of all time.
It's crazy how one of the greatest cards of all time came from the overproduction era. Jordan was bigger than life.
how muchwould a jordan rookie cost if slightly faded. i bought it for a hundred dollars was it a good deal
I guess it could be a decent deal if it is not a knock off. I'd love to have a jordan rookie and would even spend that much for a decent beater if I knew it were real.
