1986-87 Topps Mario Lemieux

This 1986-87 Topps Mario Lemieux hockey card is a second year card of the great former Pittsburgh Penguins center. Though he was only 21 years old when this card was issued, Lemiuex was already a two time 100 point scorer, All Star, and had won the Calder Trophy as the NHL Rookie of the Year. Because he was an instant superstar, this 1986-87 Lemieux card was highly sought after upon its release. Nevertheless, it is one of the top non-rookie hockey cards of the 1980s and can be very expensive on the open market. This card is a great target for any Penguins fan who doesn't want to spring for the Lemieux rookie card.
