1986 Donruss Fred McGriff

This 1986 Donruss Fred McGriff rookie card is the first card of the former power hitting first baseman. Though this card is possibly the gem of the 1986 Donruss baseball card set, it is very affordable on the open market. This blue bordered rookie card is a great target for any 1980s baseball card collector and is an absolute must for any Toronto Blue Jays collector. A fan favorite and one of the most consistent home run hitters of his era, McGriff led both leagues in home runs (1989 with the Blue Jays, 1992 with the San Diego Padres). Despite the fact that The Crime Dog was a five time All Star, most feel that he will fall just short of the Hall of Fame.
