This 1986 Topps Reggie White rookie card is another great rookie card from a set full of star rookie cards. Nicknamed "The Minister of Defense", White was a thirteen time Pro Bowler and two time NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He was a member of the Green Bay Packers team that won Super Bowl XXXI in 1997. At the time of his retirement, White's 198 sacks were an NFL record (since broken by Bruce Smith). White was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006, only two years after his death. Considering White's many career achievements, this card is surprisingly affordable. Perhaps this is due to the fact that there are much more glamorous rookie card options from the 1986 Topps football set like the Steve Young and Jerry Rice rookie cards.
