1987 Fleer Barry Larkin

Although not too valuable today, there was a time when this 1987 Fleer Barry Larkin rookie card was one of the hotter cards on the market. Nevertheless this rookie card is a must for Cincinnati Reds collectors and is a great buy target for 1980s baseball card collectors. For whatever reason, this card is still reasonably priced in mint condition despite being from a moderately tough 1987 Fleer baseball card set. Larkin is a twelve time All Star, former MVP and World Series Champion. Unfortunately for his fans, the redefinition of the shortstop position in the 90s changed the way history would view the former Cincinnati Reds shortstop. Despite this fact, Larkin became a 2012 inductee to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
