1988 Fleer Tom Glavine

The first card of the great left-hander, this 1988 Fleer Tom Glavine rookie card is a good card from a terrible year for baseball cards. Probably the top rookie in the set, this card is very affordable on the open market and is a great target for 1980s collectors and a must for Tom Glavine collectors. Featuring a picture of a very young looking Glavine, this card has a bit of comic value as well. Glavine is a ten time All Star in his career with the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets. Glavine won the National League Cy Young Award in 1991 and 1998. Part of a great Braves staff throughout the 1990s with John Smoltz and Greg Maddux, Glavine has over 300 career victories and over 2,500 career strikeouts. He is a great bet to be a Hall of Famer when he is eligible.
