1989 Topps Cris Carter

This 1989 Topps Cris Carter rookie card is the first card of one of the top wide receivers of all time. Because it comes from an unspectacular set from the overproduction era, this card is very cheap on the open market for a rookie card of a great player. This card is an absolute must for any Minnesota Vikings collector despite featuring a picture of Carter in a Philadelphia Eagles uniform. An eight time Pro Bowl selection, Carter had his best years in Minnesota after his was picked up off waivers in 1990. Ranking in the top five in career receptions and receiving touchdowns, Carter also ended his career with nearly 14,000 receiving yards. Named to the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team, Carter spent his last uneventful year in Miami playing for the Dolphins.
