This 1990-91 Score Mark Recchi rookie card is the first card of one of the most underrated superstars to ever suit up for a professional team in any sport. Coming from a rookie card packed 1990-91 Score hockey card set, this card has flown under the radar for decades. Since this card is so affordable on the open market, it is foolish for any respectable hockey card collector to not have a few of these floating around.

Selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in round 4 of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft, Recchi surprised all by becoming an immediate superstar in the league and even won a Stanley Cup with the Pens before being shipped off to the Philadelphia Flyers in a blockbuster trade. In Philadelphia he continued to put up huge numbers but was involved in another blockbuster trade to the Montreal Canadiens. Later in his career, as a support player, he was able to win a Stanley Cup with the Carolina Hurricanes and one with the Boston Bruins. His last NHL game was game 7 of the 2011 Stanley Cup FInal. Finishing his career with over 500 goals and ranking twelfth overall in points, the perennial All Star seems poised to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
