1991-92 Upper Deck Dominik Hasek

This 1991-92 Upper Deck Dominik Hasek rookie card is an early card of one of the top goaltenders of all time. Though most remember him as a member of the Buffalo Sabres, this card features him in a Chicago Blackhawks uniform. A great rookie card from a 1991-92 Upper Deck hockey card set full of great debut cards, this card is very affordable and is only heavily sought after by Sabres fans. Drafted in 1983 by the Blackhawks, it took until 1990 for him to come to North America. In 1992 he was traded to Buffalo where he became one of the top goalies in the league and even won the Hart trophy as league MVP twice. In 1998, Hasek led the underdog Czech Republic team to the Gold Medal at the Nagano Winter Olympics. He would also go on to win a Stanley Cup with the Detroit Red Wings after he bailed on the Sabres.
