1991-92 Upper Deck Peter Forsberg

This 1991-92 Upper Deck Peter Forsberg rookie card is a first year card of one of the top forwards of the last 20 years. Featuring a picture of a young Forsberg in his Philadelphia Flyers draft jersey, this card is fairly affordable for a rookie card of a future Hall of Famer. Coming from a 1991-92 Upper Deck hockey card set chock full of great rookies, this card is very popular with 1990s hockey card collectors. Though drafted by the Flyers in the first round in 1991, Forberg was sent to the Quebec Nordiques as part of a package for first overall pick Eric Lindros. "Foppa" helped the franchise to two Stanley Cup wins after it relocated to Colorado to become the Avalanche. Also a two time Olympic Gold Medal winner, the Swedish center is considered one of the best two-way forwards ever to play the game. Late in his career he eventually took the ice for the Flyers, the team that drafted him.
