1991 Topps Traded Jason Giambi

This 1991 Topps Traded Jason Giambi rookie card is the first card of the once prolific slugger. Being released a full four years before Giambi made it to the Big Leagues, this card was not very popular upon its release. Since this rookie card came from the remarkably over produced 1991 Topps Traded baseball card set, most collectors had a number of these by default. For awhile, this card was very popular on the baseball card market but today it can be had for a very modest price. Giambi was a five time All Star playing most famously for the Oakland A's and New York Yankees. The 2000 American League Most Valuable Player was front and center in the steroid controversy much like fellow Team USA alum and Oakland A's first baseman, Mark McGwire.
