1998-99 Fleer Ultra Dirk Nowitzki

This 1998-99 Fleer Ultra Dirk Nowitzki rookie card is the first card of the German born pro basketball player. A very affordable card, this rookie card can be very popular with certain collectors but will probably never gain widespread popularity in the basketball card collecting community. Though he was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks, the Mavericks made a draft day trade to get Nowitzki (and future NBA MVP Steve Nash) and this card has a picture of Nowitzki in front of the Mavericks' logo. Nowitzki would go on to become a perennial All Star and was named the 2007 NBA Most Valuable Player.
