1999 Score Supplemental Kurt Warner

This 1999 Score Supplemental Kurt Warner rookie card is a first year card of one of the more interesting stories in football. Warner went undrafted in 1994 and went on work in a grocery store before he starred in the Arena Football for a few years. He signed with the St. Louis Rams in 1998 and spent the season as the third string quarterback. In 1999, Warner was pushed into the starting lineup due to injuries and had one of the greatest seasons for an NFL quarterback ever. When this card was released in 1999 (five years after he left college), Warner was already a superstar and this card was very hot on the football card market. Later that season Warner led the Rams to the Super Bowl Title and he was named Super Bowl MVP. He would go on to have a terrific career and is a likely future Hall of Famer.
