This 1999 Topps Traded CC Sabathia rookie card is the first card of the unlikely pitching superstar. Despite being a good looking rookie card of one of the best pitchers in baseball, this card is surprisingly affordable on the open market. This rookie card is a great target for any baseball card collector as Sabathia is a bona fide superstar. Drafted in the first round by the Cleveland Indians in the 1998 MLB Draft, the rotund Sabathia burst onto the scene in 2001 when he won 17 games as a rookie. He would go on to appear in numerous All Star games and he was the 2007 American League Cy Young Award winner. Sabathia was a member of the 2009 World Series Champion New York Yankees.
