2001 Topps Michael Vick

This 2001 Topps Michael Vick rookie card is one of many first year cards of the controversial quarterback. Featuring a picture of a young Vick in his Atlanta Falcons uniform, this card found its way into many football card collections as Vick was one of the most exciting prospects to come into the league in decades. Today, it is very affordable and is a great buy target for any football card collector. Coming from a 2001 Topps set with some great rookie cards, this one is more of a second tier rookie in the set. Vick was the first overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft by the Falcons out of Virginia Tech. The physically gifted Vick found immediate success in the NFL and went to multiple Pro Bowls. Vick would later be out of football for three years when he served jail time for an animal cruelty conviction. In 2009, he made his comeback with the Philadelphia Eagles.
