Despite the fact that Bautista is a 50 home run hitter, this rookie card is very affordable on the open market. Speculators may want to grab a few copies of this Bowman rookie card if they believe that Bautista is not just a one year wonder. Jose Bautista was on five major league rosters his rookie year before starting for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 2008 he was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays. In 2010, he led the major leagues with 54 home runs after never hitting more than 16 in any other season of his career.
