This 2008 Bowman Draft Picks and Prospects Matt Joyce rookie card is a first year card of a player that has a chance to really star in the big leagues. Because Joyce was an uneven prospect coming up with the Detroit Tigers, card collectors weren't quite sure what to make of Joyce's potential and his cards were never quite make it into the upper echelon of baseball prospects. However, after a trade to the Tampa Bay Rays, Joyce started to be regarded as one of the more promising prospects in the system. In 2011, he proved that he belonged in the show as he starred for the Rays and was even named to the All Star game. Time will tell if Matt Joyce rookie cards will have any lasting value but for now they are a decent target for any baseball card collector.
