Just a quick word on the death of Baseball Hall of Fame member Harmon Killebrew:

Despite never achieving the stardom of players like Mickey Mantle or Hank Aaron and never being considered quite the all around player of an Al Kaline or a Frank Robinson, Killebrew was known for his tape measure shots which means a lot in baseball card collecting circles.

Autograph hounds will appreciate the signature of Killebrew who was known to take pride in his John Hancock, going so far as to say that anyone who waited for his signature deserved the respect of legible writing.

Cards of the great Twins/Senators first baseman will no doubt get a temporary bump as collectors mourn the passing of another great player.
