Pro Bowl Problems

I've never been a big fan of the Pro Bowl (outside of that legendary Pro Bowl subset from 1990 Pro Set), but this year's version will most likely end up being the worst Pro Bowl ever.

The NFL has decided to hold it the week before the Super Bowl in Miami, as opposed to after the season in Hawaii as they have done for the last 30 years.

First of all, no player on a Super Bowl team will play in the Pro Bowl, meaning they will have to find about 5-15 replacements at the last minute. And, considering a few of those will say no, they'll need replacements for replacements. Maybe they could make it all the way down to Darren McFadden.

Next, players are dropping out left and right. Tom Brady is out already, as is Philip Rivers, Steven Jackson, and Larry Fitzgerald. Peyton Manning and Drew Brees may also be out depending on how the Colts and Saints do this weekend.

I think this may be the only year of this experiment and next year they will attempt lure in big name players with a trip to Hawaii again. Not that anyone will care anyways.

That 1990 Pro Set crap was awful. There was one for hockey as well. Thank god they never touched baseball although pretty much every 1990 baseball set was god awful as well.
